What it's about
Our Finance & Operations Program Manager provide operational excellence, financial analysis, and program management support for the global private equity directs business to optimize investment and operational activity.

  • Work in effective coordination with the department COO on overall operational and strategic initiatives that optimize and scale our global private equity function while driving continuous improvement within our investment and portfolio company activities

  • Work effectively by creating partnerships with key stakeholders, including Portfolio Governance, ESG, HR, Finance, and across global investment team

  • Provide oversight and analysis through the creation of dashboards for cross department strategic initiatives and KPIs

  • Influence and drive global communications for cross department updates informed by global investment department leaders and Partners Group strategic updates (e.g. PG board meetings and other interim annual updates)

  • Own long range strategic financial planning in partnership with FP&A team

  • Create and own monthly budget oversight routines including intra department analysis and communication.

  • Partner with HR on forecasted talent planning needs and training, including monthly headcount oversight and executive onboarding activities.

  • Initiate and drive continuous improvement projects for portfolio company and investment team efficiency by working as a business partner with the global investment team

  • Plan strategic offsites for internal and external audiences (e.g. annual Director/CEO forum for portfolio companies, cross investment team annual meetings, etc)

  • Provides reliable, effective support on projects and initiatives

  • Gather, analyze and interpret data, writing reports and updating documentation

  • Develop trusting relationships internally and externally, representing Partners Group at board meetings, portfolio company events, conferences, etc.

What we expect
  • One of the following is preferred:
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field with 3-5 years of relevant working experience; or
    • Master's degree in a related field with excellent grades and relevant internship experience
  • Proven experience in operations, finance or program management roles
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, databases, and information systems
  • Good understanding of research methods and data analysis techniques

Base pay target for this role is $120k - $140k and we offer a significant performance-based bonus, w/ possible equity/LTI as part of the total compensation package.
