Business Accountabilities


As a Sourcing Manager your business Accountabilities will include:
  • Identify, mitigate and escalate performance-related risks as well as commercial and contract issues in order to ensure compliance and manage and control specific cost variables.
  • Contribute to and lead small project teams of (e.g. up to 5 people), in order to execute assigned Business As Usual sourcing / procurement / vendor management activities and project initiatives.
  • Ensure the business is adequately protected, by executing and maintaining governance and compliance procedures and ensuring they are up-to- date and comply with local regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Monitor and report on performance management (e.g. contracts / Service Level Agreements) as well as other issues and escalations, analyze key themes and trends and make recommendations to inform policy and/or procedural development.
  • Research sourcing / procurement / vendor management best practice and propose and lead initiatives to drive ongoing evolution of tools and processes to improve performance.
  • Act as technical expert supporting the business in order to contribute to continuous improvement of sourcing / procurement / vendor management services to stakeholders.
  • Provide specialist advice to address specific technical queries from internal clients and deliver appropriate solutions, in line with the organization´s policies and processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor one or more strategic contracts, or a specific set of relationships, and work with the business and specific vendors / suppliers, in order to deliver effective management of sourcing / procurement / vendor management frameworks and ensure service.
  • Define Service Level Agreements specific to a range of vendors/suppliers and products/services to ensure business requirements are met.
