  1. Services Solution Advisor (SSA)
    1. The SSA is the solution advisor for services i.e. the solution specialist / go to expert / spokesperson / evangelist for (a) selected specific SAP solution(s) for a territory / MU / Industry / geography.
    2. The SSA is a customer-facing role proactively promoting / pushing / strategically positioning / “business-developing” selected portfolio solutions to drive incremental selling of services.
    3. The SSA is able to convince a wide range of customers that the selected SAP solution(s) can address their issues in the most effective way.
    4. The scope of the SSA activities spans from business development, hunting of opportunities across a given territory / MU / Industry / geography, positioning value / financial business case to driving & closing sales cycles for selected solutionswith existing and new customers.
    5. The SSA is responsible for his / her solution(s) end-2-end i.e. from pipeline growth to bookings as well as revenue.
    6. The SSA designs / drives market development, development of content for solution / industry-based training as well as references for additional market penetration.
  2. Core tasks include:
    1. Developand own strategy / plan how to position and sell selected services solution(s) in the territory / MU / Industry / geography to drive incremental bookings and revenue.
    2. Evangelize the market on selected services solution(s).
    3. Design and drive demand generation activities, leveraging all relevant channels: events, campaigns, social media, cold calls …
    4. Generate and qualify opportunities within prospects and existing customers.
    5. Captain / orchestrate / lead the pursuit team and own the opportunity End-2-End while aligning with SAM and AE on the overall account strategy:
      1. Make sure to mobilize / align all relevant colleagues / all hands on deck / SAMS, solutioning centers
      2. Make sure the pursuit team leverage the best assets.
      3. Orchestrate and own opportunities for his / her solution(s) End-2-End from the initial qualification to a successful closure and revenue conversion.
      4. Support the account team in the sales cycle in being the trusted solution advisor / “grey beard” and convincing the customer that the selected SAP solution(s) is strategically relevant.
      5. Conduct executive meetings, discovery sessions with the customer LOB or IT personnel.
