The candidate will work with the Program lead to implement new technology solutions to facilitate Citi compliance with a US Regulatory mandate. This individual will collaborate with stakeholders within Operations, Finance, Trading, Compliance Regulatory Reform and the ISG developments teams to define business and functional requirements and help manage testing, training, communication and the global rollout of technology releases.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform Business Analysis functions for all SDLC components of major and minor projects including;
  • Working with end users to document pain points/business challenges and development of business requirements in order to provide technology solutions to existing and future state issues
  • Creation of flow diagrams, structure charts, screen mock ups and other types of system or process representations
  • Development of functional requirements and other SDLC required artifacts in partnership with the development teams
  • Management of changes to baseline requirements through a change control process
  • Oversight of SIT and UAT testing including the development and execution of test scripts and plans
  • Providing transparency and communication to stakeholders on all project timelines, accomplishments and risks
  • Balancing the needs of and fostering a relationship between the business and the technology areas

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

Previous Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 -3 years of practical business analysis, project management or other related experience within the financial services industry
  • Understanding of Account Reference data would be helpful

Competencies:
  • Technically proficient in Microsoft Office products, MS Project and Visio
  • Ability to manage, organize and prioritize multiple projects, tasks and responsibilities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to facilitate discussions
  • Ability to quickly grasp operational processes and business practices of key user groups
  • Comfortable with meeting tight deadlines or accommodating unexpected requirement changes
  • Ability to learn/understand some technical implications of system design
  • Willingness to ask questions, challenge the process and seek out answers
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of the project
