Pratt & Whitney, a recognized leading producer of the world’s most advanced commercial and military turbine engines, is seeking talented engineers to join our organization within Pratt & Whitney’s Project Engineering discipline during the summer of 2018.
Intern level project engineers will be valuable members of an integrated product team (IPT), made up of design engineers, structures engineers, product modeling and definition staff, and systems analysts. The IPT’s are tasked with sustaining fielded engines through product deficiency investigations and developing product enhancements. The IPT’s will also resolve manufacturing issues in the support of new engine development and production. This position is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of disciplines within engineering. Individually, the intern level project engineer will be tasked with project management activities such as budget and schedule planning, IPT meeting coordination, product qualification or development testing, and hardware procurement coordination. The candidate will work in a multi-disciplinary team, execute engineering standard work, and drive tasks to meet program milestones. This is a unique opportunity for a college graduate or emerging professional to work on the most sophisticated engines in the world.

- Responsible for small projects or multiple tasks within functional discipline
- Makes contribution to the team through their knowledge
- Works with moderate guidance on projects
- Has solid understanding of the fundamentals of the discipline and role
Do you meet these Basic Qualifications?
- You're in an accredited undergraduate or graduate engineering degree program.
- Fields of study: Engineering
- You will have at least 30 credits prior to starting your internship
- You have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
