The Commercial Engines Maintenance Data Engineering (MDE) group at Pratt & Whitney is currently looking for a motivated and talented Intern to join its Technical Publications Support and Service team. The MDE group provides a variety of services integral to the development and distribution of maintenance procedures for P&W commercial engines customers and partners across the globe. Team responsibilities include change management, supplier coordination, product assurance, graphic illustrations, publishing, digital data deliveries, software application support, and financial support.
In this role, the Intern will get exposure to and participate in change management and process improvement activities focused on improved systems automation, process optimization based on lean manufacturing principles, and enhanced resourcing models.
The Intern will work tasks and challenging problems with mentoring and coaching from technical publication experts and information technology professionals. It is an exciting time at Pratt & Whitney! This is a unique opportunity for a college student to get high-quality industrial experience and potentially start a long career in an Engineering and Manufacturing company.

Do you meet these Basic Qualifications?

  • You're in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program.
  • Fields of study: Management & Engineering for Manufacturing, Supply Chain & Logistics Management or Management Information Systems
  • You will have at least 30 credits prior to starting your internship
  • You have a GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Candidates currently in their sophomore and junior years of an undergraduate program are encouraged to apply. Students in graduate programs are also eligible.
