Description:TS/SCI is required for this position.
Qualified candidate will function as the NISSC II Operations Mission Assurance Center Lead for two NISSC II supported sites, TDF Bldg 1840 and N2C2 Bldg 2, on Peterson AFB. Must have a solid understanding of the ITW/AA Air, Missile, and Space Defense Missions. Must understand the ITW/AA operations and maintenance environments. Must interface with requisite military organizations to include organizations such as the Mission System Operations Approval Panel, USSTRATCOM ITW/AA FMO, JFCC Space MWC, NORAD/USNORTHCOM HQs, 21ST Mission Support Group/Test Control, 21ST Communications Squadron, and the 55TH Communications Squadron, as well as multiple organizations within the System Program Office. Must interface with multiple engineering disciplines, both internal and external to Lockheed Martin, and effectively communicate and integrate operations focused requirements into the product set and sustainment processes. Must understand hardware and software troubleshooting and maintenance, and be able to lead personnel through troubleshooting and repair actions. Must possess a thorough understanding of Lockheed Martin and relevant military operations and maintenance processes and procedures to ensure compliance with both is accomplished to the maximum extent possible. Support meetings and coordination with contract efforts impacting N2C2, CMAFS, AMWC, VAFB, and remote sites. Must understand the talent acquisition process. Must have technical Windows Administration skills to obtain NMAC crew qualification. Must understand the ITW/AA engineering lifecycle and applicability to the TDF.
Familiarity with Solaris, Windows OS, and Oracle are highly desirable. Familiarity with ITW/AA enterprise management tools such as HP Management Console, Active Directory, and Altiris Deployment Solutions are highly desirable. Experience with virtual environment technologies a plus. Experience with network system architecture and administration a plus. Proposal development and BOE writing skills are a plus.

Basic Qualifications:

Must possess Top Secret/SCI DoD clearance.
Technically support and represent operations for the program, to include personnel located at N2C2 and the TDF. Responsible for advising and directing all MACs, program engineering, program leadership, and customers on technical and operational issues. Responsible for maintaining an understanding of the current missions and architectures as well as the technical roadmap for upgrades and fixes. Responsible for overseeing integration of technology, systems, and mission knowledge into operations. Responsible for advocating for an operations focus in new engineering projects and assists in shaping and executing the strategic vision for supporting mission operations. Responsible for striving to cultivate and enhance our current customer relationships and establish new relationships where appropriate for mission operations. Establish and evolve Operations & Maintenance processes and procedures related to all operational locations. Responsible for interfacing with other organizations within the program to include Engineering, Logistics, Test, and Quality Assurance to understand evolving system requirements and subsequent operational impacts. Responsible for active participation in operational status and engineering meetings to include but not limited to OSM, OAB, OAP, SWG, ICWG, PWG, MWAWG, AWG, ROMB. Must support internal engineering reviews and meetings to inject an operations perspective in the Engineering Life Cycle as appropriate. Participates in the staffing and interview process as required. Performs in support of Operations Manager acting as delegate when appointed. Directly oversee crew operations performance and ensures crew support initiatives (training, schedule, facility access, credentials, emergency response, etc.) are in place and being maintained.
Must have a minimum of five years of experience with direct customer interactions on a daily basis. Must have proven technical communications skills, required for interfacing with internal and external customers at all levels.
Must have proven success in the implementation of Engineering and Program Management directives in Operations. Must have demonstrated experience with and participation in the program engineering lifecycle. Must be able to work in a mission-oriented environment centered on mission availability and quick response to customer requirements.
DoD 8570.01-M IA Workforce Certification Type/Requirements:
Candidate must meet minimum certification requirement for DoD Directive 8570, “Information Assurance Training, Certification, and Workforce Management”. This position requires a minimum certification associated with IAM Level I, which may be met with Security+ or higher. Candidate must possess a qualifying 8570 certification within 3 months of hire date.
Initial certification expenses will not be covered by the program.
Position is located at Peterson AFB with frequent on-site support at Cheyenne Mountain and Lockheed Martin. Occasional travel required to OAFB and other program supported locations (as needed).

Desired Skills:

Experience with working directly with government customers and company leadership with Command and Control Systems supporting ITW/AA Operations environment.
