Description:The candidate for this position will be providing graphic arts support through creative, innovative designs and print output. We require 100% on-time, quality deliverables to the customer in a fast-paced environment. This position will work frequently with internal customers including program teams and leadership that lead to the best use of resources and processes. The candidate will be expected to provide high quality communication to all levels of the organization and primarily internal customers.
The selected candidate will demonstrate a strong combination of creativity, technical ability, print production skills, communication skills, and highly developed judgment. Flexibility, focus, and innovative art and product approaches are key abilities along with leveraging skills that lead to cost effective solutions. From conception, design, layout, and coordination you will be a key team member that will capture your customer’s graphic presentation and create strong visual impressions.
Additional responsibilities may include technology guidance/support, inventory and resource management, resource management, wide format production, or special projects as designated. The position may include travel and/or extended hours for short term periods during peak times.
Basic Qualifications:Complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards related to graphic arts. Demonstrated technical skill set including: Adobe graphics software (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and the full range of Microsoft Office applications.
Superior customer service both personally and through influencing teams. Excellent communications and follow through. Demonstrated ability to collaborate by bringing forward positive approaches and solutions.
Be a motivated self-starter who is comfortable handling multiple projects at once. Demonstrate excellent organizational skills applicable to the discipline through your ability and experience in developing schedules, prioritizing work and product/service estimates.
Ability to work extended hours and travel during peak periods to provide surge support to other sites.
Desired Skills:Working knowledge of related disciplines such as a background in print production, photography, multi-media, or additional output services. Experience with industry standard print production software (EFI Fiery, Xerox FreeFlow, and Serendipity Megarip).
Complete understanding and broad application of technical principles, theories and concepts, in the field of both electronic and print output with a focus on large format.
