Role Overview:
The Program Management Intern will support the PMO organization in management of a portfolio of sustainment and development programs. The employee will be accountable for the success of multiple projects in the Commercial Seating business as measured by the requirements of the contract and by profitability/cost/schedule expectations set by the Program Management Director.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Leads large or medium-sized projects using UTAS Product Introduction (UPI) and UTAS Program Management System Standard (PMSS).
  • Charters and leads the team to plan, manage, execute, monitor and control all elements of a project
  • Collects and analyzes data to support program metrics
  • Supports development of an annual strategic plan and financial plan
  • Supports new business proposal development
  • Leads resolution of production issues on sustainment programs that impact customer deliveries or product quality.
  • Supports the evaluation, development, and/or implementation of standards and procedures
  • Participates in continuous improvement activities for the Program Management team.
  • Adheres to all UTAS rules and codes of conduct.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing and progressing towards a BS or MS degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field of study while maintaining a 3.0GPA.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office tools –Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
