As part of the Boston (Waltham) Ticketing Documents and Fulfillments team, you will be working in close relationship with the developers and product management and provide solutions to airlines, travel agents and beyond (airports…) in the Americas. In particular, you will be at the heart of exciting projects aimed at distributing airlines and travel agencies data (flights, services…) of via various models and protocols.
Our team is responsible for delivering in real time critical data to several big airlines on any updates done on a tickets.

II. Main Responsibilities

  • Analyze the business requirements gathered by our product management team
  • Create the functional specifications and report documentation to define how our system works
  • Interface with customer during functional specification, testing and initial implementation phases as necessary.
  • Work with the development team on the technical design of our products
  • Act as the product owner within the SCRUM team to ensure what is delivered meets the customers’ needs
  • Identify interactions and assess impacts with other Amadeus packages/products /solutions to ensure functional compatibility of their own area.
  • Provide inputs to Product Management for product functionalities enhancement, business cases and RFP responses, based on their knowledge & product experience. May participate to customer workshops

III. Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent.
Relevant work experience: 2 or 4 years of Technical Business Analyst , Product Definition or equivalent work
Business Understanding:
  • Excellent analysis, writing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with Travel Industry, Reporting Frameworks, and Open Backend
  • Familiarity with UML including sequence diagrams

IV. Skills

Computing: Object Oriented Design, Oracle
Languages: UML, XML/XSD, Scripting Language (Python Preferred), SQL
Specific knowledge: Reporting, Business Intelligence, Software Quality, Agile methodology
