About the Supply Chain Management & Logistics Graduate programme
The two-year programme is a unique opportunity to kick start your career within Supply Chain & Logistics. During the programme you will be assigned to four rotations taking you across the logistics organisation, exposing you to the different challenges within supply chain management as well as expose you to other business units within Salling Group. You will be working with challenging and exiting projects of great importance for Salling Group Supply Chain & Logistics in close collaboration with the management team.
In each rotation, you will be given a full position with clear responsibilities for assigned tasks and projects. The rotations are all characterized by a steep learning curve and the programme is designed to provide you with a basic understanding of key elements during your first assignments. As you progress you will be given the opportunity to gain more responsibility and drive increasingly more complex projects. The flow and content of the rotations will be prioritized according to the business needs and to ensure your future development.
We are looking for the right mix of personal and professional skills. If you can identify yourself in the skills outlined below, then you might be our next Supply Chain Management & Logistics Graduate.
- You have recently graduated or are about to graduate with a master´s degree well above average within supply chain management, economics, management, international business or a related field.
- You have relevant work experience either gained during your studies or you have up to a maximum of one year’s full time experience after your graduation.
- You have excellent language skills in Danish and English - minimum at negotiation level.
- You are ambitious and goal oriented, highly motivated and committed to succeed.
- You possess an analytical mind-set, good numerical skills and you perform well under pressure.
- You thrive in a role with many different stakeholders, and you have great communicational skills. You have an open mind allowing you to collaborate and communicate externally and internally across departments and on various levels of the company.
- You are dynamic, adaptable and thrive in a fast paced environment.
Being a graduate at Salling Group
We will make sure we challenge you from day one and give you the opportunity to use your theoretical knowledge and transform this into operational skills by giving you daily tasks and project work with clear responsibilities for deliveries and deadlines. Throughout the programme, you will participate in different learning modules together with graduates from other functional areas.
During the programme, you will be based at Salling Group’s headquarters in Aarslev near Aarhus. You can also expect to be part of assignments or projects at some of our other locations in Denmark.
Salling Group uses analysis and profiling tools as part of our recruitment and assessment process. If we find your background and application interesting we will invite you to take part in the assessment for the graduate position.
On the basis of application, profile and tests results, final candidates will be invited to participate in Salling Group’s Case Competition on 8th February 2019 in the afternoon/evening.
