Ambitious Junior Project Analyst / BI Developer with the desire to expand their business knowledge
Edlund A/S is a software house in strong growth, and we are busy in various development areas such as building a pension industry solution and entering new markets. Therefore, we are looking for a skilled and ambitious Project Analyst/BI Developer with the desire to expand their business knowledge going forward.
The position will be part of Edlund’s Management Secretariat, an exciting cross-department where you will be exposed to several areas of the business from CEO, Developers, Sales, Finance etc. Your will often find yourself in close contact with many different roles from developers to business specialist, , which is why it is important to have a consultative mindset. The primary task will consist of securing Edlund’s use of data through Power BI. Secondly you’ll have the opportunity to evolve into a more business relation position, helping with tasks such as management presentations, market research etc. The role is an exciting opportunity for a technical mindset to expand your business understanding over time

Responsibilities:

  • Developing & maintaining reports and dashboard with Power Bi (solving and preventing errors)
  • Collecting the business requirements for new and existing reports, and provide support to the business users
  • Introducing best design patterns for both data model and reporting layer, while ensuring data quality by using best practices
  • Keeping technical repositories and documentation updated
  • Preparation of management reporting
  • Conduct market research
  • Ad hoc administrative work

We want your to have:
  • About to finish, or recently graduated a degree of Master in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science or a similar discipline.
  • Have Power BI experience
  • Knowledge of DAX, M, direct query
  • Have analytical and reporting development skills
  • Have strong English both written and spoken
  • Have positive “can-do” attitude and quality-oriented mindset
  • Are a team player, but also able to work independently
  • Can communicate with the business in a non-technical way
