As an HPE Education Service vLabs Intern you will enjoy being part of a worldwide community of top education professionals, who are at the heart of the company’s technical training services. You will have the opportunity to work on leading edge educational products for our employees, contractors, partners, and customers. These education products will help learners maximize their HPE and industry standard product investments. During your internship you will work, fully mentored, within a small team including a full-time software developer and other team members dedicated to maintaining the hardware and software infrastructure required to operate and progress a world-class, global training lab environment. You will be expected to join regular team meetings to gain context and understand the roles of other team members along with taking guidance from a smaller cohort within that team for your graduate program project.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPosition will include assisting with the design and implementation of the technical training lab component of HPE’s education courses and instructional delivery to HPE customers and employees. These courses are key to customer satisfaction and HPE Education Services revenue.
Specifically, the position will require:
- Practical programming experience to include database information storage and retrieval
- An appreciation of an agile approach to projects & software development.
- Working towards bachelor’s degree in: computer science and Information Systems or alike-Junior year completed
- Basic knowledge of computer systems
- Ability to quickly become proficient on specific programming technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong process, and process improvement, orientation
- Passion for learning
- Eager, quick learner with strong team-work spirit
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills
- Candidate who is active in clubs/sports/campus life
