We are looking for an Solution Architect Cloud (d/f/m) - AWS / Azure to join our E.ON Digital Technology GmbH team in Essen, Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Würzburg or Hanover.

Responsibilities:

  • You design the architecture of our Data Analytics & AI platform to ensure best practice are considered
  • You lead the implementation of big data and analytics solutions in a cloud environment
  • You take over the professional guidance of members of the DevOps team
  • You advise internal clients on cloud-based architectures
  • You work in close collaboration with IT and information security departments along the whole design and implementation phase
  • You coordinate external service providers
  • You actively evaluate new technologies and incorporate them into current projects

Skill profile:

  • Multiple years of professional experience in solution design in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure environments
  • Practical experience in setting up and integrating AWS or Azure services, preferable in several of the following areas: Database, Data Processing, Storage & Analytics, Container Services, IoT Core, Administration & Governance, Networking & Content Provisioning, or Security & Identity
  • Knowledge of administrative and configuration services such as Ansible or SparkleFormation
  • Profound knowledge of Linux and preferably scripting skills in Python
  • Knowledge of ActiveDirectory, LDAP and ADFS
  • Initial experience with monitoring and protocol analysis as well as knowledge of IT and information security
  • Team spirit, communication skills and strong analytical skills
  • Fluent in English
