Are you enthusiastic about wind energy? Are you dedicated to electrical engineering and want to gain experience and improve your skills within development and research? Do you have a broad field of interests containing software and hardware? Vestas offers you an opportunity in the wind turbine test centre in Aarhus. We are looking for a proactive person that is able to work independently. We don’t expect you to know everything, most important is the willingness to learn new things and drive the technology forward.
Vestas operates the world biggest test centre in wind business at the Aarhus harbour. You will be part of the team, which is testing generators, converters and the integration of both. Testing is conducted on complex test benches, which include grid simulator, wind turbine converter and generator as well as a drive motor that simulates the rotor and its blades.
Your task will be to improve existing systems and develop new solutions to solve problems of the test environment. These tasks could be very different, from software development to hands on.
During this internship Jörg Lehmann will be your mentor and you will always get help from the rest of the team when ever needed. We will not provide salary, but other benefits will be available.

• Design and assembly of electrical cabinets
• EMC Improvements in Measurement System
• Rotating Wireless Measurement System
• Diadem, VBA – Measurement Data Analysis
• Matlab/Simulink – Simulation and Modelling of test bench
• Microsoft Team Site – Web Design
• High Voltage Testing – Generator Diagnosis
