The Trade Support department works in close cooperation with trading teams making sure they have an agile operational process. This position involves taking responsibility for functional tools and processes and ensuring that they are working at their most effective manner. The job may include daily routine tasks and contact with counterparties, but its main focus is within process optimization and data management projects. You will be in close contact with various departments, including both front and back office, obtaining a privileged overview of different areas of the company.

We work heavily with data management and trade supporting systems. Your responsibilities

  • be part of/drive one or more projects
  • develop, mainly (but not limited to), excel/SQL tools to support operations
  • maintain, mainly (but not limited to) existing excel tools and SQL databases
  • create/maintain documentation of business procedures and tools
  • ensure information sharing is efficient
  • host meetings and presentations when needed
  • assist the trading teams with various ad hoc assignments
  • ensure good management of data and its validity

Your qualifications

We expect that you:

  • are enrolled in a university level education, preferably within economics
  • are logically thinking and mathematically well grounded
  • are very well structured and work analytically
  • are reliable and quality conscious
  • have great knowledge of Excel
  • preferably can work with VBA and SQL programming, or have other programming knowledge
  • have good communication skills
  • have an excellent command of English
  • have a winning attitude!
  • are able to work approx. 20 hours per week
